1st half of track was pretty good, a little slick after that. we killed the third system to get down track w/o hunting around so much. mid 6.50's was the norm for delon, schorr, and terry. made for some some pretty close racing. couple new/diff cars showed up (a cool blown 55 ala charlie carpenter body) (and a new guy moving down to nixa mo. from pennsylvania N2O trans am) so we had 11 total cars trying for the eight slots. delon was #1 with a 6.52.
I cant remember their names either but it is a very detailed ride, first class guys. Who is the fella movin to Nixa? Jim and I will have to take him out to lunch sometime....
We didn't get down the track so we didn't quallify untill two other cars broke, so we had DeLon first round and broke the balancer that the crank trigger reads. So we ended up getting a new one and made a pass to make sure everything was ok, before we put the car up for the year.
