Re: it cost how much to get treated like this????

don't think its just the pro mod class guys. for years when i was running tafc in nhra and they did this to us on a regular occasion. NHRA has a schedule for the pros they have to keep as they claim. they also look for reasons to pull the plug on certain classes and the minute something like landis' incident happens, they have their amunition. the best way to avoid situations like this is NOT to give any amunition to the fine gents' at nhra. I'm not pointing any fingers so don't take this the wrong way, but some guys get a bad reputation with nhra and they get watched like a hawk just waiting for something like this. lets just hope George Landis is o.k.

First & foremost I pray that George Landis is in good health & OK after that crash.......secondly I cant see what all the speculation is over the NHRA ProMods, these fine gentlemen DO NOT COMPLAIN because they are racing where they want to & I applaud them & thank them for putting on the BEST ProMod show in DragRacing.....just get tired of everyone complaing about the NHRA ProMods BUT the teams & drivers never complain.......DO you people ever think they are rich & are happy to spend there money the way they see fit.

Just heard from a buddy who's there that Jay Payne crashed, not too bad he said and that it looked like Harold Laird got into the wall after the finish line. He wasnt sure on Laird but said there was alot of dust, smoke, etc.

Not a good start to the Get screened America or whatever they call that series. Hope those guys are alright and can continue to race. This is what they signed up for and they know what to expect, fans should stop complaining this is how it is and always was over at NHRA when mishaps happens (Pro Mods get put on the back burner). Accept it and move on.

I feel bad that Ray Commisso and others didn't get a chance to make the field but hey welcome to a day in NHRA life.

I totally agree, if the racers can accept the fact than the fans should also.

For those that are sitting at home nestled on their couch with their lap top bitching and whine about how the NHRA ProMod teams are getting treated keep in mind..... while you're where you are.... they're definately where they want to be.
